Degree/Certificate:

Business Studies, A.A.

Year of Graduation:

2023

I wanted to earn my degree because:

I know that putting in the hard work and effort now will allow me to have a joyful and bright future, one without having to worry about money, but one where I can be financially secure and live my biggest dreams to their fullest.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My mother, the love of my life, my brother, and my best friends.

I’d like to give a shout out to:

My most trusted advisor Maria Krug, thank you so much for genuinely putting forth your best effort and knowledge in helping me succeed in my journey through what feels like a never-ending hell hole. You are my reminder that I can get through this and live the rest of my life. I am very happy to have met you and gotten to know you, I can't say how grateful I am for all of your ongoing support.

What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:

I initially thought that I was going to graduate this year with a degree in accounting, however I am really grateful for the opportunity to be in this transfer degree program and to graduate with an associate in business studies. It has lifted so much stress off of my shoulders to know that all of my hard work is genuinely going to pay off, and to be honest it helps that I only have a limited number of colleges that I can transfer to because I am honestly horrible at making decisions (if you know me, you know). If there is one thing I can take away from this its that everything finds a way to work itself out. I am very happy that I have to opportunity to earn two degrees within only four years, especially one being a four-year degree. My heart goes out to everyone who made this transfer degree program possible, I am eternally grateful.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:

The opportunity to be social, to expand my social abilities, and learn and teach others.

Clubs, volunteer work, organizations that I participated in while at Three Rivers included:

Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Thanksgiving Baskets Handout, Winter Warm Up Handouts

I plan to use my degree to:

Help others get to a more financially secure place, and to teach others better financial practices.

Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:

The free time, the time to focus more on my arts and crafts, as well as my singing and improving my musical skills.

What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:

To be surrounded by people to socialize with and open my mind to the endless possibilities life has to offer.
